Firoz Ahmed founded TrueDirectory in 2026 after getting tired of a course-comparison category where almost nothing published a real price. He writes the majority of the site's IT training and careers guides.

His approach is deliberately unglamorous: read the actual curriculum PDF, find the fee the counsellor won't quote until you're on a call, name the free alternative that makes the paid course unnecessary for some readers, and say plainly who a program does not suit.

He sets the editorial-independence policy for the site: no ranking is for sale, no placement is paid, and every recommendation — including the ones rated first — is described with the same caveats.
