Who you are dealing with
This site is owned and operated by TrueDirectory, a sole proprietorship based in New Delhi, India. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that business.
By using this site or buying a service from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Using this site
TrueDirectory is free to read. You are welcome to quote or link to our guides with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions of our content as your own, scrape the site to rebuild it elsewhere, or present our rankings as somebody else's research.
What our rankings actually are
Our rankings are editorial opinion, formed from published fees, curriculum documents, alumni feedback and our own research. They are not audits, accreditations or guarantees. Two honest reviewers can rank the same providers differently, and a provider we place first will still be the wrong choice for some readers — which is why every guide says who each option suits and who it does not.
No ranking on this site is for sale. This is not a courtesy, it is a term of business: buying anything from us does not move you up a ranking, does not remove a competitor, and does not change what a guide says about you. See our editorial policy for the full position, including our relationship with the providers we rate most highly.
Our paid services
We sell one thing, listed on our pricing page: the sponsor banner. It is advertising space that sits outside every ranking and carries a visible “Sponsored” label wherever it appears. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw any creative we consider misleading, and to decline any advertiser at our discretion.
A basic listing remains free and is not conditional on buying anything. Nothing else on this site is for sale — not a position in a ranking, not the removal of a competitor, and not the Verified mark.
Payment terms
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are payable in advance unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Tax is charged as set out on the pricing page and shown on your invoice.
- Payment is made by direct bank transfer or UPI to the account details on our invoice. We never ask for, and do not store, your card details, UPI PIN or banking passwords — see the privacy policy.
- No product renews automatically. Monthly sponsorships are invoiced each month and require you to pay each invoice, so nothing is ever taken from your account without you acting.
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by our refund policy, and delivery timelines by our service delivery policy. Both form part of these terms.
What we ask of you as a customer
If you buy a sponsorship, you are responsible for the creative and the claims it makes. You agree that the advertisement is accurate, that you can substantiate what it says, and that you hold the rights to the logo and artwork you give us. We will pull any placement we find to be misleading, and no refund is due for a placement withdrawn on that basis.
Fees, salaries and course details change
We publish real numbers because most of this category refuses to. But course fees, batch sizes, EMI terms, refund windows, placement statistics and salary bands all move — sometimes quarterly. Every figure on this site is accurate to the best of our knowledge on the date shown on the guide, and may be out of date by the time you read it.
Always confirm current fees and terms directly with the provider, in writing, before you pay anyone. That includes providers we recommend.
No financial, legal or career advice
Some of our guides discuss course loans, EMI structures, refund entitlements, tax on training costs and expected salaries. This is general information for comparison purposes only. It is not financial advice, not legal advice, and not a recommendation to take on debt. We are not licensed to give any of those, and we do not know your circumstances. Before signing a loan or an EMI agreement for a course, speak to a qualified adviser and read the contract yourself.
Third-party sites and businesses
We link to training providers, colleges and service businesses. We do not operate them, we do not control what they do, and we are not party to any contract you enter with them. If a provider misrepresents itself to you, your remedy is with that provider — though we would genuinely like to hear about it, because it affects how we rank them.
The “Verified” badge
A Verified badge means we have confirmed the provider exists as a real operating business, that its published course and fee details match what it tells prospective students, and that we have checked it against public information. It is not an endorsement, an accreditation, or a guarantee of outcomes.
The Verified mark is not for sale in any form. There is no fee to be considered, no fee for the check itself, and no way to buy the badge. We decide who carries it, at our own cost, and we can withdraw it at any time — including from a business that is currently paying us for a sponsorship.
Limitation of liability
We publish in good faith and correct errors quickly when they are pointed out. To the extent permitted by law, TrueDirectory is not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on this site. You are responsible for your own due diligence before paying any business.
Where we have supplied a paid service and are found liable in connection with it, our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.
Suspension
We may suspend or remove any listing, placement or account that breaches these terms, misrepresents a business, or is used to harass or mislead. Where the breach is yours, no refund is due.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before going to court, please raise the matter with our Grievance Officer at listings@truedirectory.co. Most disputes are a misunderstanding that one email resolves.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when we last did. Changes apply to new orders from that date. If you are part-way through a paid service, the terms you bought under continue to apply until it ends.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Email listings@truedirectory.co. We publish corrections rather than quietly editing away mistakes.
