What TrueDirectory is
TrueDirectory is a directory and guides platform for India, founded in 2026 by Akram Hussain. We publish research-backed comparisons of IT training courses, service providers and colleges — with real fees, named alternatives, and a clear note on who each option actually suits. Every recommendation here is unpaid, independent editorial. Our course guides serve learners worldwide (training is delivered live online), while our local business listings currently focus on India and Delhi NCR as we expand.
Editorial independence
TrueDirectory sells no rankings. No business pays us to appear in a guide, to be ranked #1, or to change what a guide says. That includes the providers we rate most highly — such as ShiftToTech Academy, which we place first in several of our IT training guides. It is a separate, independent company, it pays us nothing, and it holds that position because it earned it in our research — not because it bought it.
The one thing we are paid for
We run one paid advertisement, and you should know exactly what it is. NoohArk Technologies pays for the sponsor banner — the card headed “Sponsored” that appears part-way down our pages, including this one. It is an advertisement. It is labelled as one everywhere it appears, we keep it off our privacy, terms and author pages, and its links carry rel="sponsored" so search engines treat it as paid too.
That banner buys space on the page. It does not buy a ranking. NoohArk is also covered on merit in our Delhi NCR software development guide, where it is recommended for startups and SMEs on a budget — a judgement we reached on its pricing and scope, and one we would print the same way if it advertised nothing. That guide states this arrangement openly at the point where NoohArk appears, because you should not have to come to this page to find it out.
This is why our homepage carries two separate figures rather than one: 0 paid rankings and 1 paid placement. Collapsing them into a single number would mislead you in one direction or the other.
What that means in practice
Because no ranking is bought, we describe every provider — including our top picks and the one that advertises with us — with the same caveats: what they lack, where a rival beats them, and the questions to ask before you pay. We would rather you walk away from our #1 recommendation than sign up for something that doesn't fit you.
How businesses get listed
Every listing and ranking is editorial and unpaid — the sponsor banner is the only paid slot, and it is never a listing. We shortlist providers from public information, published fees, alumni feedback and our own research — and we tell you to verify current details directly before paying anyone.
How we make money
TrueDirectory runs as an independent editorial project funded by a single advertiser. NoohArk Technologies pays for the sponsor banner described above, and that is the only money any business pays us. We take no payment for rankings, for inclusion in a guide, or for changing what a guide says. Every paid slot is labelled as an advertisement and carries rel="sponsored" markup, so you always know which placements are paid — and today exactly one is.
